Hi everyone! I just joined here and noticed that there's no general threads about The University Of The West Of Scotland around, so I took the liberty of making one :p: .

I'm (hopefully) doing Social Sciences (If not then it's.. ugh....computing, still there though), I'm terrified though because there's not a single other person from my school going to Paisley!

I start sept too (can't believe they call me a mature student!) to do BSc Biomedical Science.

Really excited but mixed in with a big bag of nerves too!

I am away to UWS to do Law this year. I have been searching for a flat and everything to move into as I am not commuting ever day from Glasgow to paisley. And getting my work arranged as well for it. So all looks well for me.

Anyone else away to do law as I don't know anyone who is at the uni or going to it for law?

i'm living at home (: i stay in kilmarnock so i'm just gonna travel.
I'm doing social sciences too, but at the Hamilton campus :frown:
