Random question i know, but I'm welsh speaking and curious to know how non-welshies would pronounce it. Its abbreviated a lot as "Taly"- how would you pronounce that as well??

Nope
As I thought people pronounce the "y" in Talybont as a "y" in "happy"
However, "y" in welsh is sorta the equivalent of The in English, and is pronounce kinda like a deep "uhh"
Random fact for the day
