270+ probably, not sure if my 263 in sociology should count or not, probably not quite.

That's just under 92% - I think 275 is good!

Though I think Cambridge say 80+/90 is a good A which is roughly 88%

I go by the definitions 240-260 = low A, 260-280 = mid A, 280-300 = high A. Makes sense I think?

Yep same here. I think anything over 260 is fairly impressive, but 280+ qualifies as a high A. Also Richard Partington said Cambridge thinks of 280+ as a high A.

(Still I wouldn't've minded an extra mark in French for a scraped 240 A )

I don't think many people would mind a 240 in French!

lol! Well the people applying for languages would probably want a bit more! The depressing thing was, 2 people in my class predicted Bs got As :eek: I was the only one predicted an A and didn't get it... (1 lousy mark...gr) If only she'd predicted me a B I might've worked a bit harder, oops!

But you're doing it next year, so it's the mark that matters instead of the grade.

Try getting 209 in the subject you're dropping. :eek:

Is it? So will they bother to read my reference - I might get my teacher to put in my UMS. aw that sucks Seriously get a remark! & if that doesn't work maybe it's worth just retaking 1 module in January so you can say you got the B?

Guys this is stupid an A is an A.
Anyway I think anything above the middle of the A-grade spectra, i.e. 90%+ => 270/300+ is a high A.
