AS REDOX QUESTION HELP!! Is this correct?

Write a half equation for the reduction of NO3- ions in acid solution to frm nitrogen monoxide and water

NO3- + 4H + 3e- --> NO + 2H2O

Write a half equation for the oxidation of silver metal to Ag+ ions.

Ag --> Ag+ + e-

Hence deduce an overall equation for reaction between silver metal and nitrate ions in acid solution

3Ag + NO3- + 4H+ --> 3Ag+ + NO + 2H2O

are these equations correct??
I can't find a mark scheme anywhere :frown:

Please help!! exam at 9 =(

Looks about right, except that the H in your first half-equation should be H+ but you've rectified it in your final equation so I'm guessing you know this already :smile:
