Which airline?
You can get to London/Stansted from both Frankfurt/Hahn and Friedrichshafen (Bodensee) with Ryanair. I don't know whether that's close to where you live, but in most cases it should be the cheapest alternative. Maybe it's worth considering that next time, when you've moved in and have little luggage.


yeah, I live an hour away from Frankfurt/Hahn, but we left booking it too late, so by the time we were ready to order the plane tickets with Ryan air they fares were no longer so cheap, but really expensive. Not helped by the fact that Monday is a bank holiday in Germany ... oh well, I wanted to go by car anyway... can take more stuff that way :wink:
