Paper 1: Section A-

Question 1 = how/ what is the writers main argument
Question 2 = how does the writer use fact and opinions (may be worded differently
Question 3 =Language and Linguistic Devices
Question 4 = Compare Presentational/ Organizational Devices

(Question 3 + 4 sometimes vary

Basically know 3 types of presentational devices 3 types organisational devices 3 types of language devices and that fact make articles more vaild and real and opinions influence and shock reader.

Section B - Always choose persuade.. it is the easiest to get marks in.

Remember
A - Alliteration and Anecdotes
F - Fact Opinion
O - You
R - Rhetorical Qs and Repetion
E - Examples and Experts
S - Statistics
T - Triplets

S - Slogans
M - Modal Verbs
I - Imperitive Verbs
E - Emotive Language
F - Flattery

For A* include Sarcasm and Counter Arguments

Basically do this and you've got an A*. Also put a one sentence paragraph in that will guarantee it
