The venue looks quite promising it says...'For chart classics to disco gems, The Venue has long been a favourite of New Cross locals and the large Goldsmiths College student population.'

there also seems to be a hell of a lot of pubs!!

Isnt New Cross meant to be particularly good for indie music? people say its the "heart of the london indie scene," but then that could just be NME propaganda. Never trust a magazine that has to abreviate their name - they have something to hide.

there's been some negative stuff bout the local area of goldsmiths on here, and i think the venue is wicked for the indie scene-they showcase a lot of new bands there, which is always cool- you always have to look out for a band called AmanaceR-they're my friends band,and they're pretty cool!Visit thier site-its www.AmanaceR.co.uk and if you leave a message tell them becky told you about them!
