Colin is a Radio 1 dj, hes on the radio in the week and hosts with Edith Bowman! and he is particulary delicious looking! :biggrin:

This is news to me..didn't know colin murry was doing the event.

But finally heard from manor today. ima in sincliar house..flat 14. Freshers event looks pretty good. Trip to the zoo :smile:(maybe im being a bit immature here?)

Did any one get any info on what we do when we move in. Ie, where do we pick keys up from.
I think we just go to the porters lodge in reception and say 'Its me! I'm HERE!!' and they'll give you the key and show you your room?!

Argh- I've been put in Flat 11 in Sinclair House... I asked for Manor Hall which is why I'm a bit put out... but I phoned up one of the lovely ladies in the office there and she reassured me that I've been put with some really nice people- 2 history students, 1 philosophy and theology and 1 drama... so I can only begin to imagine the deep and profound conversations we might have in the not so distant future. Anyhoo, must go out and earn a bit of money now to see me through freshers fortnight! x
ooh..you'll be just down the hall from me then.im in flat 14. wow..someone else in sinclair house. ok..slightly relieved now that im not the only one.

Im gonna be in Sinclair House, Flat 22. :cool: I wonder what floor thats on.
well, theres 24 flats..or something like that, so i would assume 22 would be near the top. lucky you..all those stairs :P.

Yay im in flat 4.14 in the main building woooo. fourth floor i guess. so does anyone know what the rooms are like? iv heard they are quite big and have a washbasin. what about the set up/lay out of corridoors etc e.g. how many toilets.

cant wait!

p.s. angela - think im guna get my festival ticket there but order my ball one now. woopwoop! be kool 2 gather a big crowd. what sorta music u into? and what u studying? (wow u can tell me priorities!!!)

Well hello there to my nearish neighbours in Sinclair House! There must be nearly 70 of us in the non family flat unity type thing so it probably isn't as private as I originally thought... I'm not relishing the prospect of dragging my laundry all the way to Manor Hall though, but needs must.
I'm sure you'll meet me banging hysterically on your door once we move in as I'll quickly get bored of unpacking and want to annoy as many people as possible when they're all stressed and upset about moving away from home... Apologies in advance.

same here. feel free to bang on my door and say hi anytime (as long as its not before 9 in the morning as i shall be asleep and get very grouchy when woken up. feel sorry for my poor flatmates)

Wooo! Got my stuff from Manor this morning and i'm in Manor Hall room 0.9 which im guessing is on the ground floor? Could be a good thing as i dont have any stairs but i suppose i'll be the first to drown if there is a flood! (not sounding too morbid or anything!)

No worries MonkeyOnIce (where on earth did you get the inspiration for that username by the way? very bizarre... just my cup of tea), i rarely shake my stumps until the early afternoon, which probably explains why I can't hold down a job for very long... wherabouts in Hamp***** are you from then? Anywhere I'd know? I regret to say I was born in the slums of Basingstoke and haven't moved further afield since...which also probably goes to explain the way I turned out...

Yeah me too-sounds like it won't sell out too quickly! im mostly into indie (razorlight, kasabian, kaiser chiefs, gorillaz, arctic monkeys, etc but not hard fi!!) so live bands should be good! u? (o and im taking biology)

and i guess i should get that ball ticket-dont wanna miss out-but that means i have to find a dress and in my wardrobe thats no easy task!

Im from southampton-ish are...if that helps at all. so yes, not that far away.
I got my name from a line from an Ima Robot song called Alive. Amazing band. So hope they play bristol while im there.

But im am the worst for getting up. Really don't know how im going to cope at uni because i usually have to get my mum to drag me out of bed in order for me to be anywhere on time. Somehow think im going to miss all my 9 am lectures.
