Law at Oxford

I am probably going to study law at Oxford but cannot decide which college. I would rather a strong academic college because although you might have to do a slightly more work, you will still have a good social life (Oxford is renowned for a active social life). What college would anyone recommend for Law?

Also, are there any colleges with particularly good choirs?

Christ Church
St Johns
Brasenose (not across all subjects, just law)
Balliol

I'm not really into singing so wouldnt know too much about it
