Duryard (sp?) Halls
Hi all,
My brother is off to Exeter this year and he's been given accomodation in Duryard (sp?) halls and is a little concerned that he's heard rumours it's not very nice. The fact he wanted self-catered and got catered also didn't help his opinion! Can anyone give an honest opinion of this hall?

My best friend was in Duryard last year. Absolutely loved it. When i stayed with him i thought it was cool. Its nothing special but the atmosphere was really good, really cool people.
I had self catered (im at sussex). Youll get to cook in yrs 2 and 3. Enjoy being cooked for for a year!

one of my best mates was in duryard last year- she'd also asked for self cat and ended up catered! i agree- their nothing special but seemed to have a fantastic atmosphere when i was there, and she loved it- she cursed 'cardiac hill' but its made her very fit over the year, and makes the walks home from the union that little bit more fun! im sure he'll have a great time there :-)
Dude, not to blow my own horn but if you check out http://thestudentroom.co.uk/t100461-2.html and look about 3/4 way down, i did a bit of a heartfelt rampage about how much I loved Duryard, it's worth a read if your bro is heading there (but then I would say that!)
