neone here scared? neone in lindsay halls?
hey, just thought id start a thread for neone in lindsay (im no.17 O) . ne one else livin there? ne one else ******** themselves? im soo nervous. i dont wana b a ****** who stay in every nite cus im shy wen u 1st meet me. i do come out of my shell once u no me though!

everyone seems to be in lyndsay hall. im in block s, room 108 i think. ive never been anywhere where i dont know anyone before so yeah, im s****ing myself too lol
I'm in Holly Cross...not quite Lindsay hall, but we are supposed to share the same facilities.

i think we'll all look back at this and think- what was i so nervous about?
...sooooo, why am i contemplating not going?
O and P block are joined together... I used to live in P block. Room 17 will be on the second 'proper' floor- there are one or two rooms at the bottom of the stairs. The rooms are orange and yellowish. Think yourself lucky- last year they were redecorated- when I was in P they were PUCE. Not nice with a hangover.
Also- beware of the snails- they have a habit of racing up the sides of O and P and exploring the first rooms they find through any open windows... not a problem after the beginning of the year though, I found.
The showers are dead powerful in that block, and befriend the cleaners, it'll be worth it. The Lindsay cleaners are an alright lot. Sue is lovely if you have her. As broad a Stokie as you get mind.

true- i think i'm stressing out over the ice-breaker disco more than the actual academic side of uni.....i think someone needs to get her priorities correct!!!
Holly cross is fine- just like all the other en suite areas of Keele really- read what's been said and it can be applied just as much to Holly Cross and the Oaks. The flats are small, and well kept, it's about a 10 minute walk (if you're slow) to the union, just under halfway to Hawthorns.
And I wouldn't stress over the Icebreaker disco... Having just experienced one of the most miserable days ever I lasted 30 mins in there, lost everyone I knew bar one girl, and we went back and had a big heart-to-heart. Everyone else I know just got drunk and threw up. It's one of the busiest nights of the year, and you'll be so confused/daunted/scared/wrecked you wont remember it (nor anyone you meet) anyway.
