OCR M3 specification - quick question
The specification says, under Simple Harmonic Motion, (b) set up the differential equation of motion in problems leading to SHM, quote appropriate forms of solution, and identify the period and amplitude of the motion;
When it says set up the differential equation does that mean we have to prove the differential equation of just be able to quote it and use it??
Also, will we ever need to sketch (x,v) graphs at all?
Help would be appreciated. Thanks.
