For some reason, I imagine Davos to be much younger, and Stannis to be much older. (If anything, Davos is older than Stannis by at least a couple of years).

I always saw them of a similar age, he was old enough to have fathered seven kids.
New production vid.

Qorin looks nothing like I expected.
Yeah, I expected him to be younger and more muscular...almost a bit Drogoesque

Hell no, he struck me as a rugged veterian. Looks just like I expected.

^^This is pretty close to what I pictured.
I pictured Qhorin as a huge muscular Viking type - at least that made the

Thought that as well, also where are the trees?

I'm pretty confident I remember a forest mentioned in the book. :P

They said that's only the location for the Frostfangs, the mountain range north of the Wall. The rest of the Wildling lands are still being filmed elsewhere, I think they said in Ireland [=

Going by the frame of Melisandre at 1:18, it looks like we're going to get "that scene under Storms End" :lolwut:

This guy/girl does the best illustrations of each character. His Qhorin and Tywin are amazing. By far my favourite is Stannis though, perfect illustration, from hair to his actual bulk (Stannis is huge).

I love the scene with Stannis, Renly and Melisandre, especially when Stannis goes "the Iron Throne is mine by rights" and Melisandre's expression is just like "YEAH BITCH!"

The TV show version of Daenerys seems a lot more decisive and determined that the book version of her. But how is it that she knows that "the Starks fight the Lannisters etc", when she only finds out that the usurper (Robert) is dead right at the end of Book 2?

The only clip in the new trailer which annoys me is the Bran/Osha/Hodor one. Where are the Reeds? And why would Osha, a wildling, know that a comet means dragons?

Can't honestly wait for season 2! that Jaqen, that Brienne, that stannis the mannis and of course more of Tyrion. The Blackwater episode with GRRMs help will be something epic.
The only complaint I can think of is that it should come sooner! Although we have season one released on dvd/bluray soon so that should wet our appetites

I thought Stannis was skinny and drawn, wiry. With shadowy eyes.

So...no Reeds in this season? Have the producers decided to do without them?

Also can't wait to see Ygritte. OMG and the scene when Theon meets Asha for the first time (lol).
Has it officially been said they aren't in the series yet? Because they do play an important part in Bran's story...

There are no reeds or Ramsay in this season, however it doesn't mean they won't be in season 3. The producers have said they are pushing some content from book 3 forward into season 2, so maybe they are holding back some content for season 3 with the introduction of the Reeds and Ramsay.
Another theory is that Ramsay is to be merged with Roose, however I doubt that would work.
