Yoga?

Hi,

I was thinking of joining a yoga class - for a couple of reasons -

1)I'm not supple - I'm tight all over from the gym and need to do something about this - strecthing doesnt really help - in fact I find strecthing more painful than squatting sometimes.

2)I hear it's good all round for the mind and body

and

3)To meet women - the only place I meet females is in clubs or bars and occasionally in the gym - I run my own business and don't really get to interact with many people in my line of work!

Do you think yoga is good for the above things?

Hi... I've been thinking of taking up yoga. I have a crap back and I don't manage stress too well so it's not going to get much easier when I have a job...

But at my local gym, all the women are in the 50s and 60s and very overweight and there are no guys at these yoga lessons.

I probably should have tried at my uni but never got round to it as I didn't have the time (nor much of the courage). A girl on my course told me there were a few guys

This makes me think of the Yellow Pages advert where James Nesbitt joins a yoga class to impress a woman and ends up doing his back in :p:

i do yoga, i'm 17 and all the other women in my class (thgere's no blokes) are at least 30
the big difference its made for me is it has improved my balance loads
