Mine was on patriotic media bias on the coverage of the events in the Iraqi war. I scored 19, with which I was happy. People pick topics that
1. their teacher suggests
2. are part of their interests
3. are controversial, and know that they can pull it off
It matters not what you pick - it's how you do it.
Mine was about The murder of JFK, where I looked at knowledge by authority in the field of history...
I felt that it went OK, but we didn't get any commetns back from our teacher yet though, so who knows...
raven! you are not supposed to know how you scored!
hehe mine was on whether it was right to bomb hiroshima...
Hey my TOK presentation was on Honour Killing and it was great because I got 20/20, but ended up with a B at the end.
Mine was about freedom and about the question "To what extent is the human being free?" We did a theatrical performance with archetypal characters (a historian, a religious person, etc) discussing the issue. At the end each person would explain his/her character further. It was really neat.
Mine was on capital punishment (there is still capital punishment where i live) so we handed out questionnaires and did ours on that...it was quite good actually. I did mine in June!! when do we get to find out how we have done?
