Fortismere?

Hi, does anyone go to/know anything about Fortismere School in Muswell Hill? I've suddenly got the oppurtunity to go there for 6th Form but I'm apprehensive about giving up my place at Highgate Woods, although i know equally little about either school. I've been told Fortismere is 'better' in terms of exam results and reputation, but i still don't know. Any comments would be helpful, thankyou.

I've no idea but have you been to look round it and spoken to teachers etc? That might give you a better idea

Hello mate,
I'm in year 11 at the moment at Fortismere, and believe me it's a very good school with very good exam results. Social wise, its got its problems like any school but nothing major. You've got your typical rude boi's, geeks, chavs, goths and the good thing is that its very multicultural. Teaching wise, I couldn't ask for anything better, most of the classes are now equipped with all the latest technology and if I were in your position I would definetly go for Fortismere. What i've heard about Highgate Woods is that its rather rough, and its exam results aren't as good as Fortismere's.

hi i live in london and know people that go to both schools.
i would go for Fortismere they get quite a few people joining their sixth form as i know of 2.
Highgate woods my friends from my college (woodhouse) went there they said it was really rubbish

So my vote is Fortismere
