there is no interviews for undergraduates for medicine at southampton though, is there?
no interviews at Soton, that's why getting in seems completely random.

Thats right, they don't interview for BM5 unless you are a mature non grad. They don't interview for the 4yr course (BM4) either. But they do for BM6.
