You'd think I'd have thought before hand!

Yup
Remember everyone, don't search for ambiguously named music on peer to peer software XD.

It's a stupid name for a band anyway.

I hate to think of all the child porn .mp3 files you found!
Reply 23
I didn't specify what file type I wanted as I also download music videos. Anymore questions?

One of the grottiest pornos we found in Amsterdam was "Man 'n' Chicken" - cost 90 euros. I tell no lie...

Was this legal?

Pornography banned in public places: yes.
Pornography banned in homes: only if the homeowner wants it to be, no government censorship.

Even the type of porn the first post was talking about? That type should be banned in or out of the home.

Why?
I'm sure that the harm to the animals was done at the time, they're not likely to care that people are watching them.
Also, the 'young girl' probably wasn't, and even if she was, the harm's already been done, I don't see why the government should censor it.

Maybe she was maybe she was'nt.. if this type was banned it would be harder to make these sort of films surely?

What? It's already illegal to make child/beastiality porn. What does censoring it have to do with how hard it is to make?

Nothing I suppose...its just gets me mad when poeple make this stuff and poeple are willing to buy it.Normal porn (soft) is fine sometimes great! but only when its between two consenting adults.Any other IMHO is disgusting and should be CENsored .(sorry i said banned been up early not funtioning properly)
but the thing is whrer do you draw the line between 'soft' and 'hard' porn?, and more importantly, who decides?

What do you mean by that part?
Nudity is generally 'soft core', sex is generally 'hard core'; so a lot of 'hard core' porn is normal.
If parents raise their kids properly, hardcore beastiality porn won't be a problem for the children. As for what the guy did in the net cafe, it should be up to the cafe what they deem appropriate, not the men in suits in London.

censorship = no demand = no motive to produce

Because if it's less easy for people to watch it then there will be less of a demand.

You think that censoring all non-consenting-human-adult porn is practical?
Reply 37
no, where did I ever mention how practical it was...

that's totally beside the point.

the point is if you censor it then you will reduce the demand a lot and this will help a lot in reducing the crime.

I think people should be able to look at whatever they like (apart from minors, obviously) - but not in public! Come on, that's like obscenity or public disruption or something. Do the glances qualify as threatening behaviour or sexual harassment of some kind?

The issue isn't what he was looking at but where he was looking at it.

I'm not sure if I'm convinced of this. The Prohibition didn't reduce the demand for alcohol.
