See the other thread on it.
It does nothing for it's members. It's not a union like the RMT and that lot. If you want to join a union wait till you've got a job and need one.
This 'union' is just set up to support wannabe politicians. If you think it is like anyother union you are mistaken. Don't waste your money or time on this lot. I very much doubt that what they say represents your feelings and if your not left of Carl Marx you have no say at all.

    You'll love it.
Although being at Oxford I don't have halls like other unis, I've really enjoyed my first year. I'm quite a reserved person and i've had no trouble, and neither should nayone else. My only disappointment was not doing as well in the exams as I or my tutors hoped. Never mind, will do better next time.
Meeting new people is a challange, but will never be dull.
make sure you get chatting away. Even if you don't like those who you live with, there eill be time to meet others.

    I'm at Merton, doing medicine.
Sounds nice - swimming pools n all. What you doing there? Keep clear of the NUS lot and you'll be a happier man.

Aww, bless you. Just remember that everyone else will be int he same position, and most will be nervous.

Enjoy it! Halls are fab fun, and you've got the even bigger excitement of 'living out' to come!

I'm not moving in until the 24th!!! So i've got loads of time to pack and stuff (Haven't I?!?!?!)

I'm pretty nervous too, but i know once i'm over that initial shyness and stuff i'll be alright.

I was only joking about. I don't really care if he's dyslexic, it was just my way of pointing out it was spelt wrongly.

Does it say something in his sig? I have them turned off, they just get in the way. I apologise if that's the case, had i known i wouldnt have said it. Given that, i still hardly think what i said was warranting of your retort, i put a tongue and all that after to show i was only having a laugh.
