ever since folks joining cass found out tht they got a test during freshers week, everyone seems to have disappeared and gone back to studying....!!! i thought failing did you more good than harm cause the extra tutorial helped more than the fast paced tutorials... i agree tht its an extra hour or two but would rather not have that when you are struggling with the course...?

i think they feel tht they will look stupid and uncool among their peers if they were not in one of the extremely fast pace tutorials... little do they know tht there are limited places on them and its not necessarily a good thing... uni aint college folks....

to be honest i think everyone just takes it easy (i hope) because the maths test is a joke as far as i remembered. more like a simple algebra and logs that a person doing econdary school maths will be fine. Fast paced tutorials aren't really fast paced they are quite zzzz as well so not a big deal. Only reason i say that its worth to get yourself in a better maths tutoral group is you don't need to attend extra hours as skipping tutorial classes does mean deduction on your coursework/exam mark at times (i rather not take that risk os skipping and i want more free time to do my own work than spending time in tutorial classes).

Although one thing for certain, if someone thinks high school was the worst, there is lot more to come lol

i think we will have a lot of students who will belatedly realise tht uni is abt a good balance... some will be guilty of studying too hard, others partying hard, others doing neither... very few will study, socialise and be active by taking up extra curricular activities...

neo give this guy some valuable advice... top grades arent the only things tht u need to make it to the top... just one of the many things tht are needed... its like trying to bake a cake, you can not bake a cake with just flour... it maybe tht the quantity is a lot more compared to the rest but it does not mean u will have a cake with just flour....
