Does anyone here go to Robinson college?

I have an interview there on Friday and was wondering whether I should wear a suit or not. I wore a suit to St Johns but dont know if I should to Robinson cos theyre less traditional.

What do you think?

I do feel comfortable in a suit.

Cheers.

I had an interview there last year, about half the guys wore suits. I would wear a suit, even though they are not that traditional there is still a reasonable air of formality about the place.

I'm not at Robinson but...
Yeah wear a suit, if you feel to formal when you arrive you could always take your tie off and undo your collar button. That's how I went to my interview and they didn't see to mind, it might give them a sense your more relaxed than you possibly are!

It was for theology and no I wasn't pooled, I applied to Robinson. Good luck for your interview - it's a fab college!

Where did you apply originally?

You should consider that a God send! Robinson is by far the lovliest college (it's going to have me after all... hehehe! ). Plus, if you went to John's you'd just be constantly ambushed by tourists. I mean, any colleges which actually have a route for tourists sign posted around them should be avoided at ALL costs and on pain of death.

The tourists started to annoy me even on the two days I was there for my interviews!

And you can walk on the grass at Robinson!!

well it has to be considering the buildings are so awful.

But otherwise Robinson is great and the £1.50 breakfasts are superb, practically "free"
