Poor circulation to your hands maybe? Often characterised by coldness, purplish tinge and sometimes swelling. I don't have a solution....maybe massage your hands to improve the circulation.

Go to the doctor and get it checked out if it's a persistant problem. It could be circulation problems, heart defect, something called Raynaud's disease or a number of other things. My sister has this problem and was tested for loads of stove. They still don't have a clue :frown:

I have Raynauds disease and in the winter especially I suffer poor circulation, although last winter I was largely ok. I think mine is gradually disappearing [which can happen], although I only had it mildly anyway.

lol

Something to do with your circulation. But other than that, i dunno.

Try to keep them moving, that will kick start your circulation. Do go to the docs if it happens all the time though

Yep definately get it sorted. I know someone who actually died from a disease and one of it's symptoms were Raynaud's Syndrome. Although, it is so so so unlikey that you have it. And just so I don't scare you, Raynaud's isn't fatal (just a rare form of the disease, Scleroderma, is). Really, I don't wanna scare you!
My hands and feet are often very cold, especially during the winter. I don't think it's a problem though..

Mine are; in my case its low blood pressure leading to poor circulation, simple as that. There are a couple of things you can take for low blood pressure, but I like the cold hands thing. You can always wear gloves.
My hands and feet are cold all the time. Sometimes I wear wool socks even if it's summer!

Just pointing out that Raynauds disease is very rare, especially in men. But, lots of people do suffer from bad circulation which might explain why people here complain about cold hands and feet. This certainly isn't the 1st thread I've seen on this.

My mum (who has cold hands) always says "cold hands, warm heart!"

I have warm hands and people seem to keep quiet about what that's meant to mean :frown:

You may well have died without noticing it. Book an appointment with your GP.
