I thought it was alright for half a day out but by no means did this justify its expenditure.

I went there. I thought it was OK but not enough fun stuff.

What are they going to do with it now?

seeing as it was the most popular tourist attraction in years it seems strange it was so badly slated. i went and thought it was quite good. apparently tony blair was fighting for it to be kept open another 6 months after its closure date to try and salvage it.

it did cost loads of funding mind, and seeing it was only open for a year or so...

yeah that's true - I really liked all the parts of it that i went to. It's a shame it didn't make as much money as expected

The Dome was the flop and the wheel was the success.

The relaxation room was good... I want one of them at home.

I didn't play the football, but we did this huge "Cats and Dogs" game where you wave paddles in the air to play a game that was a bit like Pong I think.

Yeah.

But it's just a big tent. Didn't they cover it in red fabric a few years ago for Red Nose Day?

i hated the wheel- it was the biggest waste of 45 mins of my life...and it was a perfectly clear day the day i went too!

I went for a day, and found it moderately interesting, but I found that what was inside it was an uneasy compromise between exhibition/museum type stuff and "fun" stuff -- neither was done properly or in much depth.

the dome is still there! bit hard to miss really.

If you mean the contents of the dome, then they were auctioned off to try to gain some sort of profit n 2001, when it closed.
