giving someone my number

I've just got home from a night out and i think i did something really bad. i have a boyfriend of about 3 weeks and he wasn't out tonight. this guy was dancing with us and we chatted about dancing as we are both dancers. he asked for my number and i gave it to him! i dont know why!!! i wish i didnt! is that really bad??? 4 of my friends know i did it. i hope my boyfriend doesn't find out. i feel so bad. is it really that bad? we didn't do anything, just gave him my number.....

just tell your boyfriend that you thought he was a good friend- or he knew someonce who could help you out with wotever - goo luck

Don't see why he can't have your number just cus you got a boyfriend. You got guy-friends right? Tell your boyfriend - what's there to hide? - say you thought the dancer guy was a good friend. Unless you guys got trust/security issues, I shouldn't think it's a problem, surely? I wouldn't mind personally - although I would definitely mind if my bf tried to hide it cus then I'd think there was something, not that I currently have a bf lol.

You've only been with your bf a couple of weeks - hardly marriage where he might have a problem with you having a new guy friend who is into the same dance as you or whatever.

I wouldn't bother telling him at all - if you do then you're making an issue of it and he may wonder why.....if one of your mates mentions it then fine you can just say "oh yeah he was out dancing and we were chatting about it" or something innocent like that. :cool:

I give blokes my number all the time.

Giving them your number doesn't automatically mean that you're going to jump into bed with them.

You could've given it to him as a friend. And even if he didn't read your intentions as that (which, let's face it, is probably the case), you don't have to act on it, do you?

dont worry its not like youve slept with him or summat! unless u feel guilty cos it crossed your mind and ur on here for a bit of reassuranse? its ok if thats the case, that happens to everyone at some point.
