Advanced Spanish Phrases?

Hi,

Does anyone have any good phrases that I could use in my Spanish writing exam that would make the examiners go: "WOW, this kid's clever!"?

Subjunctive etc. Maybe something about a director like:

his dexterity and methodical approach to film making is awe-inspiring or something similar!!??

Please help, I'm gonna fail everything otherwise! :s-smilie: Lazyness...its a killer!

search for some idioms and use them with the subjunctive

e.g.

la rodaje nos hace sentir como si fueramos en el pellejo del protagonista

= the shot makes us feel as if we're in the shoes of the protagonist

a todos queremos que todo vaya viento en popa pero la verdad es que...

= we all want everything to go well, but the truth is that...

su destreza y el enfoque metódico que utiliza para hacer cine es impresionante.
I don't know what kind of film you're supposed to write about but you could say things like: "sus películas aportan una innovadora visión sobre temas de índole social, alejada de los tópicos cinematográficos del cine actual" or "el tema es tratado desde un punto de vista cercano y conmovedor, que permite al espectador comprender una compleja e intrincada realidad, plasmada con maestría por el director".
I hope this is not too difficult. If it is or need something else, just let me know.
