How do examiners mark GCSE papers?

I heard there are several checks on each paper...
but then I heard it's just 1 person.

Please help!

I dunno, tbf. I'm confused as well. They say it gets double checked, and I think they're on about the marks, like, if everything has been added up correctly?

Not sure.
They throw darts at a dart board - whatever score they get = your mark for that paper.

they mark em, and then some are selected, ussually the papers which scores the highest or lowest and they check to see if the papers are marked fairly- not to strcit or not to friendly

they're checked quite a lot though- perhaps 4 times according to my english teacher

With a dice
they are scanned and emailed electronically
ususally marked twice, but if people pay after results they can be checked again!
