I went to have another look at the accommodation recently when I was in Brighton and Phase 1 actually looks nicer than Phase 2 from the outside...Phase 2 is a bit prison-like! I'm sure it will be nice on the inside though. My cousin is living in Phase 1 and I have a feeling she might be in your flat...it was forty-something anyway...!!

Cool, we shall be nearby then! Have you been inside the rooms? I only went in once about 18 months ago and i can't remember which was which (brighthelm/lewes court got muddled in my head!) how big are the rooms vaguely? can you move?!

Nope I haven't been inside...when I went for a look around campus we weren't able to see a room in Lewes Court - seeing East Slope was enough to make my mind up!!! I think you can swap rooms if you find someone to swap with! I posted this in another thread so you may have seen it already but here is a pic of a room in phase 2:
