I'm applying for Natural Sciences at Cambridge as well as Biochemistry at some other universities.
I'm writing a draft of my personal statement, and I'm having difficulty starting it. Does anybody have any tips/advice?
Yeah, it's quite difficult these damn things.
I'm writing mine for Physics/NatSci though.
I've pretty much written mine just adding a few things.
Best stategy is to divide the statement up into sections, e.g. why science/biochemistry, reading around subject and so on.
Well I've got 4 main section I'm going to include.
- Why biochemistry (including outside reading + workshops I've attended),
- Why my current studies have lead me to this degree
- Skill I've developed through my current studies,
- Outside interests, hobbies, work experience etc.
