hopin an prayin i get in!!

Oooooooooh, i soooooo wanna come here! sounds soo good! although this whole college rivalry is kinda scary...which is the nearest to durham town centre?! am applyin this year, so keepin my fingers crossed! did the year 12 summer school this summer, and loved it! anybody else go there???

College rivalry is all in good humor

University college (castle), Hatfield, Chads, Johns, and Cuths are all in the town, Trevs, Collingwood, grey, aidans, van mildert and marys are all on the hill near the science site, about 10-15mins walk from the town centre and Hilde bede is on the other side of town near bout 5 mins walk from town

but durham is so small it wouldnt matter which college u were at really u need to choose for other things :smile:

yeah, we stayed in collingwood on the residential, an i liked it, its just i was hoping for less hills...the language dept. being right in town almost an me not being much of a walker ... bah, i'll get used to it :P

Don't worry too much about choosing a college. If the worst comes to the worst and you're stuck for choice, just make an open application like myself (where they ended up putting me in Hatfield).

Lol, but i dont think castles for me, we met this guy called Nick who graduated this year, he was in castle an to be honest ... i dont think it's my kinda thing. i mean don't get me wrong, theres something kinda cool bout livin in a castle. but yeah, something less 'haunted' for me :P

Hey dude!

I didn't work on the Year 12 Summerschool, but I was a mentor on the Year 11 one and the "Masterclass" one so I know a lot of the mentors who did the Year 12 one.....glad you loved it! The ones I did were awesome! :biggrin:

You didn't by any chance meet a guy called Jason did you? He was one of my mentees for the Masterclass one...really cool guy! Who was your mentor? :smile:
