French Remark - opinions?

Hi,
Just wanted some of your opinions on what you would do in my situation really. I got 68/90 (B) in my AS French oral, however I feel that it should be higher than that, and my teacher who I did the exam with thinks the same. She can't tell me where I lost 22 marks, my content was good, my language was good, pronunciation was alright. I answered the spontaneous questions well etc. Other people in the group got like 60 in French oral and 85 in German oral, despite saying they thought French went better.

I ended up with a B overall, and my grade can not go up, but obviously the points are important for next year. What would you do? Is it likely I will get marked down if I request a remark and lose my money?

Cheers
If you genuinely think you deserved a higher mark then you should get it re-marked. You won't lose money if you mark changes (either up or down).

I might get mine remarked... I got a C :frown: And an A in the other modules (Highest in my class on one). My teacher said I should get it remarked too... But the examiner was kind of harsh with everyone.

I doubt it'd go up or down more than a couple of points and since you're not looking at crossing a grade boundary I'd say it's probably not worth it...Especially if everyone else did worse than they expected, unfortunately I'd guess it was just harshly marked.

Can you retake orals?
I'm in the same situation with my AS Spanish. I got an A overall, but my oral was 40/60 raw marks and I got 47/60 in my mock. I know it was a different person marking it, but I was seriously a lot better in the real thing! What exam board is everyone doing?

Are you getting it remarked? You might as well, since it's very unlikely to go down. I'm getting my unit 2 history remarked. To the original poster, I think you should get your French remarked for the same reason.
