Golfing Injury

Over the summer i've been playing a lot of golf. I've been playing for 5 years on and off and am pretty good (handicap 13), so i shouldn't think its bad form. Yet i've developed this neck pain when playing and its affecting sleep and workouts. It seems to be worse when using irons on the range although it was pretty bad today when i was driving in my garden.

The pain shoots from my traps up to the back of my head and its worse on the left hand side (i play right handed). Has anyone had similar troubles. Are there any specific resistance exercises/movements people know of to relieve this.
