Presumably: the LNAT takes place in November, which is at least one month after the application deadline for Oxbridge.

Well i am, i have booked mine for 29th Oct ... You can book your LNAT exam from Sept 1st to Jan 10th or something ... Ems x

You can send your application in before you sit the LNAT, because none of the rest of your application is dependent upon your LNAT result!
I am a little surprised to hear that you can sit the LNAT when you want(within specified dates) "!!!!!!!! What will happen with the essay questions..?!

Authoritative answer: You can take the LNAT either before or after submitting your UCAS form. The important thing is to observe the deadlines at http://www.lnat.ac.uk/registration/deadlines.html

If you submit your UCAS form after sitting the LNAT, you should log back into your LNAT account later and add your UCAS number.

You can sit the LNAT when you want (subject to the deadlines) because the set of questions on the test will be different each time. There is an enormous bank of questions. They have been calibrated so that every version of the test will be at the same level of difficulty.
