    argh. i knew someone was going to bring this up

    fine you dont NEED exams for later life, but considering i want to go to uni, exams are pretty necessary. plus, exams to some extent do dictate how much youre going to earn etc (unless we're talking success NOT in terms of money....)

    i wouldnt say they dictate how much you're going to earn.
    After all, Bill Gates, one of the richest men in the world dropped out of uni to found microsoft, and didnt Richard Branson fail GCSE or A-level maths?

    argh! its very unlikely that someone is going to earn lots without exams.

    They don't. But yeah:

    Homework + house full of fun, distracting things = bad grades

    I tried everything and wokring at Uni was the only way of getting the work done.
