I've lost all my GCSE certificates from years ago.. the problem is Corpus Christi has asked for them and I'm not allowed to matriculate until i hand them over! Anyone else in my situation- or anyone else who just knows what to do? Rachel
You have two options, really: get your school to formally list your results and send that, asking if it's sufficient or you'll have to fill in a form for each exam board that's applicable and pay to have a transcript confirming your grades (they no longer send out replacement certificates).
I'm using my boyfriend's membership to post And Edexcel/OCR seem to replace as they have forms to apply for replacement GCSEs; but I might need to do the school confirming thing as it takes 28 days for them to get back. You holding an offer for Cam btw? Rachel
You're good! Thats arlight, a certifying statement of results seems suspiciously like a replacement certificate anyway. Hopefully corpus will be ok with it. Which college you going to? Rach
Dont bother with expensive certifying things from exam boards. Just get a signed, stamped letter from your school confirming your results. Worked for me. So if its good enough for Sidney (and Edinburgh...) chances are corpus shouldnt object.
Thats right! Hello there. I'm actually doing theology in the first year, but I am considering changing . Doing philosophy at Trinity will be incredible; the college of Wittgenstein AND Russell! I'm jealous! I think our only famous person in Corpus is Christopher Marlowe. Are you looking forward to going up? I'm really excited but kind of nervous too. Rachel

I know, I think I chose the best college for it, it is really an honour to go to a college which has such a tradition in it. I'm really looking forward to it yes! But as you said, nervous too
