ya what?! bananas are a fruit, in case ya hadnt noticed! i thought all fruits were good for you and contained loadsa vitamins and minerals. Sugars in fruit are good for its just the sugars in like chocolate and coke etc that mess up your body

This is silly. All fruit is good for you in certain quantities. But what is being said that, bananas have a particular consistency that disfavours dieting... Their sacarose content is very high and consequently is burnt quickly, hence you are left feeling hungry shortly after. Don't get me wrong I eat bananas, or used to do all the time as a snack, especially for thier energetic and potassium content. So yeah, i'm in fact a giant banana as someone squishy pointed out... :p:

At my uni there was a maths student. However, he wasn't so good at budgeting. He spent almost all his money in the first six weeks of the first term. Suddenly it hit him, that he was going to have problems living off what he had left. So, he went out and he bought some porridge oats, margarine and golden syrup with the remainder of his money and made a giant flapjack. He then proceeded to ignore the health risks or eating only flapjack, and in the later stages, several week old flapjack, and using his mathematical skills, calculated exactly how much flapjack he could eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. He ended up very ill and in hospital after almost three weeks.

I didn't know him personally, but everyone heard about it when it had happened. We were told it as an example of how not to feed yourself at university. He was in a self catering hall, so all his rent and bills were paid up front, but he had to feed himself. A cleaner found him passed out in his room and in his cupboard was this box of flapjack...

My brother has an eating disorder, and one of the few things he eats are breakfast cereals, so he will have it for 2 meals a day, he will have cereal for breakfast and cereal for dinner in teh evening, he is 13 and is very fit and healthy, he has been eating like this since about the age of 4 or 5 and has grown up to be fine, so i would say yes you can live of Chearios, but other food is essential, but these days breakfast cereals have lots of added vitamins and minerals so you can get a lot of your nutrition from them. although they are not the most healthy option.

Then I would say you cannot live off Cheerios. Any more than you could live off flapjacks.

Eating ANYTHING almost exclusively is bad for you.
Just eat a balanced diet.
