I have often wondered whether people with this condition would have problems with penetration? As the foreskin only retracts a certain amount, would having sexual intercourse push it too far down and rip?

As for your question, i'm sure it will be fine  It's good that you have got to know her first and get proper feelings for each other before you get intimate as she won't care about things like that. In fact, I have heard many girls say that they prefer it like that because it looks better...or something.

I used to date a guy who had this problem and he couldn't have sex without a condom. Apparently he once did with one of his exes and he actually bled! He said it was fine though, as long as he did use one.

Yeah I got the impression you would need lots of lubrication...I guess a condom would provide some extra? I guess it also depends on exactly how far the foreskin retracts.

Yeah I've heard of this, hurting, men bleeding and everything, so I think It'd be good if we took it slowly at first because it's not as if it's a one night stand where it would just be all about the sex, it would be much more than that. I can't say it hurts whatsoever during any other *act* (even going to the toilet ), but maybe that's because I have the control in terms of how far I push myself (pull  ) to the limits. I'll let you know... (god that was hard, u no wot i meen lessthanthree )

No I haven't but I might do, I'll see how it goes! I've seen these sorts of posts on other forums and they basically say that the doctor can prescribe some sort of cream which may help quite a lot, so as I said I'll see how things go. My only problem is I'm so shy I couldn't even walk into sixth form alone, let alone being in a doctor's room in a rather indecent state  !!

I had this. Possibly to a greater extent than you, sex was totally impossible without a condom. Still, tried the cream, that did nowt, so ended up having surgery. Total sod for a few weeks immediately afterwards, but worth it in the long run..

You can't be that shy to be able to bring it up here  i dont think its going to be a problem for the girl, most would be extremely understanding, but you need to discover how big a problem it will be and if you need to get yourself to a doctor good luck sorting it out

That's what i heard as the 4skin reduce the friction.... or something like that..... is it too late to get mine done? But the pain! ouch!!!!!!!!!!!

I had it done a few days after birth, as is tradition. makes masturbation great(er ?) fun too.

I had a tight foreskin as well (one of my Grandad's had to have surgery for it, so it probably runs in the family). I ended up just forcing the skin back little by little over a the span of around three months, and as far as I'm aware the problem is now sorted.

If I do, and that's a BIG IF.... I should do it while I don't have a gf eh? :p: . It would be sooo painful to go to the toilet the first couple of weeks after you get it done though I can imagin.........

Reply 18

It's called phimosis. It'll pass (usually), but look it up on the internet.

Not really...think abt it, the skin around the head is cut, the actual urinary tract is utterly unaffected. a bit sore with pants pressing against it.
