Hi people, New to this forum. :cool:

Im starting this course in October and staying in Victoria halls. Yes i know theres a big thread on it.

Just wanted to get in touch with someone who did this course last year so i can steal some textbooks of em :biggrin: Or at least reserve them for me at a very generous price :p: :rolleyes:

Personally being a bit of nerd I would go 4 the G4 ibook. If ur buying a laptop u never upgrade it or add new parts, so it has to be stylish and long lasting, unlike a desktop which u upgrade all the time.

Wish I could afford a laptop! Gonna stick with gud ol Fred (my PC!)

macs not compatible with anything

just stay well clear if i were you, especially if you need to dl .docs and things for ur couse

only people who need macs are video editors and things
