Better than expected results...

Hi,

My two offers I've got at the moment are 32 and 28, for medicine and biomedicl sciences respectively. I got 650 for the UKCAT.

Anyway, I got 41 points overall, smashing both of the offers and beating all standard offers for medicine, bar Oxford and Cambridge.
So is there anything I can do to try and go to a better uni.

My BMAT was pretty rubbish, so I've narrowed it down to Kings or maybe scottish unis, Edinburgh or St Andrew's.

You have a medicine offer - most applicants would kill to get just one offer. You've met the offer you should just be very pleased with yourself and go to where you have an offer from. Unless of course you hate the uni.
Seriously, just take one of those offers. Even with very strong grades, people get rejected these days.
Where's the 32 medicine offer from?

Who would want to put themselves through the UKCAT test again!!
Take your medicine offer and enjoy SGUL (and be proud of your IB results)
All the best

I'd say stick with where your going, as long as you like the uni.
I know someone with AAAA in the three sciences and maths, without retakes, brilliant UKCAT score, 1 year working in a specialist department of a hospital (can't remember which one) and work experience shadowing doctors who still hasn't had an offer! (She's been applying to the top unis - I still don't know how she didn't get one, this is her second year applying.)

Count yourself lucky!
