AS Physics materials coursework-can't think wat 2 do!!! watch

    Hey!!! I need some help in choosin wat material to use for my physics AS presentation coursework. i wanna choose a material thats interesting and has a lot of info about it but is not too complicated!
    Has anyone got any ideas who mite have done it before or is doin it now??? :confused:

    Let me get into a little secret, CONCRETE is the easiest.

    It looks quite hard, but actually all the info is on the web, and has got loads of physics involved, and also not many other people do this material, so your teachers won't really know if you fib a bit.

    Real good subject.

    Or kevlar-too overdone by loads of people

    Contact lens-again loads of info on web, but noone does this.

    I am doing the same piece of coursework at the moment and i am using Steel. Its alright theres a load of info on the net and on encyclopedia packages. The good thing is you can use the twin tower thing 9/11 on the bit where you have to put it into context!
    Does that mean that you are taking the module exam on 12th Jan as well?

    Hiya Kirsten, thanx for the info im still decidin wat to do, steel is a good one tho but iv also thought about doin sumthin on the material they use in artificial hip replacements,its titainium i think. it could be interestin but i can't find much info about it on the net. u wouldn't happen to know of any good websites would u? I don't expect u 2 cos i ant got a clue myself! just wondered thats all, lol! We don't do the jan exam on our course jst an extra piece of coursework and then a final exam in June. I can't say im lukin forward to that tho!
