Maybe this is better, he could send his troops to the space and let them kill themselves.

*is reminded of the 'star wars' programme* um, could be ok, but not if the moon becomes covered with missile silos and giant "la-zers" *does the bunny-ears thing*

seems a bit ambitious - do we need it?

(off topic: has anyone heard the theories and arguments that the US never went to the moon?)

check out thsi site: http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/tv/foxapollo.html

I don't bother to start arguing about the moonlandings again. Suffice to say is that the US sure was on the moon and the corruption theories are rediculous and pseudo scientific. If you doubt me, just chek out the site above. It has a link where they adress almost every aspect of the conspiracy theory explicitly.

Well apart from the bush jokes, Im pretty impressed by this thread not having some angry lefty going on about 'why don't they spend all that money on cancer or aids research'

So before they do Im here to tell them to STFU!

And here's a few links to help silence them

mars and cancer research

space program and medicine

I thought I'd get some research of my own in there before some ill-informed prat gets his rant on.

oh come off it.

to suggest that this project is anything but a monstrous waste of money is ridiculous.

a few incidental advances in medicine don't change that.
