Customising Eastpak bag

I have this light purple/lilac Eastpak backpack and I want to funk it up a bit for college. Any ideas on customising it? I have badges but they all fall off.

Any ideas? Pwetty pwease. :p:

maybe add some sequins and make it all sparkly!!!!

iron on patches?----or even better sew on patches.. you can get some gorgeous girly ones in haberdasherys (sp?) and the like! Better yet iron on sequins...you can buy them in strips.
Felt markers...glitter pens suitable for fabric.
Key rings? I did my old bag up with loads of really sweet keyrings from claires and its quite striking.
You can get some cool keyrings (they are quite in i think) at www.asos.com under accesories.
I used to put my earrings (studs) on my back pack when i was at college and forgot to take them out (they get confiscated otherwise.)

Where do you live? I know a good few shops in London (non-chain stores I'm afraid) that might be good. Otherwise you basically need to go to a skate/alternative type shop like Moist. Some bag shops do them too.

I got mine from www.schuh.co.uk ages ago, so I'm guessing they may have it in the Schuh store? I couldn't find any in the shops so that's why I got mine online. I've heard they do them in Blacks - the outdoorsy shop. :smile:

i used acrylic paints. they've been on there for at least a year and a half... perhaps 2 years...
rain doesn't wear acrylic, and it's fairly cheap to get hold of...

whatever you do stick to the cheaper hobby acrylics...
the pro-art ones tend to fade rather easily in the sun.
i found out the hard way...
i pay 99p for a 59ml bottle...
