Hello, Just wondering how it is possible to become a detective, in this country, how much they get paid. And do you have to go through the police ranks or just enter directly.

Second question, is Sleep. I feel that I am over sleeping all the time. Wake up late at about 12.30 pm is that late?. Wat can I do to wake up in the morning, apart from getting an alarm clock! And during the afternoon and evening I usually have a knap as well for an hour or two. This is becoming a serious problem, for me.

You have to go through the police ranks which involves a lot of training. You have to be a copper before you become a detective. If you have a degree you can often find that the time from copper to detective is faster.

I am not sure what the pay is but a police officer with several years in their belt earns £30 a year (thats what my uncles on).
