I know what you mean about being blonde and slim... Guys just assume they can chat you up and you're easy, like some idiots come onto me in clubs, and I'm just like "yes, hi, let me introduce you to my 6'5" boyfriend...". Tw*ts.

People do stare, but I hope they do not mean harm. I realise this most annoy you, although I am not disabled my self. I try not to look, so not to upset the person.
People stare at me all the time because I have alopecia (lost all my hair and eyebrows etc.) like Gail Porter if you've seen the recent stories... I don't wear a wig or anything so I get stared at all the time and it really annoys me, I think everyone must assume I'm having chemo, the other day in the pub a bloke actually came up and asked me if I was having chemo. Oh well when people stare at me I just stare back.
my (half) sister has down's syndrome and people stare at her when we go out as she looks different. she is only 7 years old but has already picked up on this, which is so sad.
it's not the same, but i was recently in a wheelchair for a bit while my knee healed post operation..i noticed how differently i was treated for just those few weeks.
people either ignored or talked over me, or they tried so hard to be nice that it got patronising
I guess you just have to rise above it, being a happy person is more attractive than anything. On the flip-side, some people always want attention, you could probs use it to your advantage to make people like you, get chosen for jobs etc. I know that's no consellation, what I'm trying to say is we should all be thankful for what we have and try and make the best of it.
And when people stare, I'm sure most of them aren't looking down on you
raz i didnt realise a lot of you had disabilities on here, but there does seem to be quite a few. at least on TSR you dont get judged on looks, more on personality. good luck.
