SOAS is your best bet if you're interested in African and Oriental history. However, if you want to pursue your studies in a more Western mindset, then it isn't.

It is good, but dont believe the league tables.. It isnt as good as LSE, UCL or Kings.
SOAS is very good, ive know a bunch of their graduates who went on to work in the UN, WTO, and other developmental intl organizations.

One can't really compare SOAS to any other non-specialised institution. SOAS is simply the very best in its field, and LSE is second to none in Economics, Law, etc.; neither of them should be compared to UCL or Kings, because of their more 'general' nature.
