how do you work out your address?
if your staying on campus, im in dalton, how do we work out our address?

ooooooooh i spent the whole of last week figuring it out.
wot the booklet called Information&conditions of residence 05-06 (would have come w/ ur accomodation confirmation...pg 11 btw
) says is IF u mention ASTON UNIVERSITY or the uni's postal code B4 7ET it will take longer to arrive; u should give
ur name
floor/flat/bldg+block
Birmingham + POSTAL CODE of the bldg.
and the postal codes are as follows (its off the book dont take it from here cuz i may have made a typo)

Stafford Tower B47EG
Dalton Tower B47EQ
Bishop Ryder house B47EE
Gem house B47EA
Old Cross house B47ED
Vauxhall house B47EB

well u can put in aston triangle.but the booklet says if u mention ASTON UNIVERSITY or B4 7ET ur mail will end up going to the main building and then ud get it after a few days.
but im just going by wot the book says...logically id like to put aston uni in it...cuz hey thats where we are.im not really confused...just hope someone who has already been there would post ere and let us knw and confirm it

I always put aston uni on the address and letters didn't seem to take too long to arrive.

How do you all know the block number? i only know my room and floor number and then stafford tower?

stafford just has room numbers.
Although lawrence has 'long' and 'short' sides each floor has its rooms numbered 1 - 18 so your floor number then room number then 'lawrence tower' will suffice if you liver there.
