how many pairs of shoes for uni?

how many pairs of shoes are 1st year girls taking? and what type?

Well when I moved out. I took two pairs of black strappies, one pair of white strappies, one pair of "work" shoes, loads of trainers, flip flops and 2 pairs of slippers for moping about in.

But then again that is my WHOLE shoe collection

green high heels
pink kitten heels
black kitten heels
gold ballet pumps
silver/white ballet pumps
brown pocahontus type ankle boots
black suede boots
2 pairs of dirty converse trainers for rainy weather...
1 pair of nice clean trainers
1 pair of flip flops
1 pair of slippers
oh and my pink high heels

i have more... but i only live an hour and a half away from uni so if i DESPERATLY need some shoes i can come home

I'm taking my timberlands, 3 pairs of warm winter boots, 3 pairs of black high heeled going out shoes, 2 pairs of trainers, pair of pink ballet pump shoes and some black casual type slip on shoes that I have which are really comfortable but I cant describe :p:

usually have to get 7's tho lol!
i have a thing about shoes... always makes me happy! if im abit upset... or nervous... or i've just found out the dress i wanna buy isnt in the shop in my size i'll be gutted so go buy some shoes!
plus i reccommend to ppl... if you want shoes for 1 outfit... or for 1 night get them from george at asda or tesco... coz they are dead cheap! got pair of boots for £8 and my green high heels for £4 and my pink ones for £6!!!
they are shoes that only go with like 2 outfits...

I have way too many pairs of shoes... but I'm taking a couple of pairs of New Rocks (my 'everyday' shoes), a pair of heels, Dr Martens and a pair of trainers in case I feel the overpowering urge to exercise...

1 pair of black mid length boots
1 pair of brown knee boots with a buckle detail!
1 pair of pink pumps with stars on
1 pair of slippers.
1 pair of flip flops for the shower! not gona step in there bare footed.

i'm taking 3 pairs of trainers (adidas shell toes, vans and converse), and 4 pairs of topshop flats (i don't really wear heels as i'm so tall), and then also some slippers and flip flops! :biggrin:

well i went mad over the summer and bought
1. 4 new pairs of trainers.
2. 7 going out strappy healed shoes (and i dnt normaly do heals)
3. 2 dolly shoes
4. flip flops

Well I think a guys input might be welcome here...

I'm taking One pair or shoes for nights out
One pair of shoes fpr posh occasions like the freshers ball or whatever
Two pairs of trainers

and I;m probably over doing it there, most guys wil take ike, one maybe two pairs of trainers and a very small few will actually take a pair of shoes

I'm taking my sport shoes - might take up a sport where I need them.
My normal every day trainers.
My flat soled winter boots.
My sandals, as they are pretty and go every well with an evening dress or for going out to a club - they don't have heels either, so I can wear them all evening no problem
My dancing shoes - well sandals with heels - for the fresher's ball? Still need to think about this a bit
My new boots with heels :biggrin:

bought them yesterday and got to practice walking in them, but they are very comfortable
My slippers
My shower shoes - bit like flip flops - good for shared showers!
Think that's it :wink:

So yeah, 7 to 8 pairs :wink:

- slippers and flip flops are important!

3 pairs of timberlands, some trainers for workin out in (!), converses, 2pairs of winter boots (ugg etc) pink pointy boots, black pointy boots, furry boots, 2pairs of high black pointy shoes, flat pointy brown shoes, flat sparkly shoes, silver ballet shoe things and some slippers. i want another pair of boots/shoes though!!
