Siberian huskies, Malamutes, Samoyed, etc etc

What do you feed your dog?
I'm having great difficulty in deciding. Wet food is fine, it's just dry food that I cannot decide on because the best brand in the world for Huskies isn't available in the UK!!! >.<
It's called "Blue Buffalo" in case you're wondering.

I'm tied between Burns and James Wellbeloved.

What protein level is best for a dog who goes bikejoring every other day, and has a 3 hour walk every other other day? 18+% or 24+% ??

I know you haven't put it as an option but I feed Pro Plan to my dog (okay he isn't a huskey)
I find it to be the best food to feed your pet. My dog and cats are on Pro Plan.

Avoid Wellbeloved, made by pedigree = big no!

Can make dogs hyper and misbehaved. Just not a good food.

Burns is the opposite, the vet John Burns makes it and considers different aspects of dogs lives according to lifetyle/stage. There's an active dog one so you should look into that

I've seen dogs fed on burns and pedigree and there's a hugeee difference! :p:

I would say Burns is the better food of the two, although I actually fed James Wellbeloved in the past to my dog. He has a very sensitive stomach and James Wellbeloved worked for him.

I would try your dog on the lower protein diet first and see if s/he has enough energy and maintains the correct weight (should be able to feel the dog's ribs). If the dog doesn't need the higher protein it may just because hyper on.

Alternatively, have you considered a raw food (sometimes called 'barf') diet? I'm really pleased with how my dogs are doing on such a diet. They get a combinations of vegetables, rice, raw mince, raw chicken wings, pilchards, and occasionally some of the James Wellbeloved for convenience.

Burns is a much better food than JWB IMO!

Have you looked at any of the following:
http://www.orijenpetfoods.co.uk/
http://www.whites-premium.com/
http://www.csjk9.com/

Personally I feed raw

This food is a fab ready prepared raw diet which is good to get started on or even feed and vary with RMBs:

Brilliant- thanks for the update!

NI is fab stuff- my BC loves it. Bowls are always licked clean in this house!
Their free super fast delivery is also great I think.

If you want to feed RMBs too Natural Instinct sell them. I do occasionally order from them but mainly my local butcher gives me them for free as they have to chuck them out anyway. Also get given them for free as well as various off-cuts and bits of offal from our local farmer's market.
