dailies and astigmatism

does any1 know if it is possible to get daily contact lenses if u have astigmatism? or the ones u can wear all the time for a month?

Hard contact lenses can be moulded to cure astigmatism, soft contacts can only be worn if you have a mild astigmatism or you buy a special brand, E.g.: http://www.allaboutvision.com/contacts/torics.htm

Almost all disposibles, are the soft contacts, hard contacts last 6 months or a whole year I think.

Yes you can (I know because I used to wear them) they are called toric lenses and you can get them from most opticians (both advertised brands and the opticians own brand)

Yeah as mentioned monthly toric lenses are fine. Out of interest does anyone know if laser eye treatment is any good for people with astigmatism?

you can get it, but I’ve never had it (or even know anybody else with astigmatism) so I don’t know ifs its any good, but I've always been sceptical of laser surgery, seems too new, too dangerous and too easy to me.
