i've been thinking about zebras a lot recently. and i want to know why it is that other horses are generally happy to be just one colour. for instance shire horses are black, grey, or bay. but that won't do for zebras, they have to go all stripey. are they just showing off?

(addendum for american readers. in america, shire horses can also be chestnut. which is a bit daft, really.)

gosh, my zebra conversation: i'd forgotten about that.

of course i do not always think about zebras, najinaji. i also sometimes think about squirrels. come on you reds!!! and now i'm thinking about your name/nickname. hmm, najinaji, sounds sort of japanese. japan. tea ritual. yes, now there's an idea. so, i've just got to find my mug. the one with the zebra stripes on it.
