Brilliant film, I really enjoyed it as it wasn't the storyline you'd expect.

I've heard a lot of stuff about this film and I know the vague storyline, but what makes it so great?

On a side note, your sig is quite amusing :teehee: In a geeky way of course :p:

I thought it was awful.

That little ***** was so annoying it made me root for the paedophile, and that can't be right. I really, really wish he had just killed her at the end.

Would have been funny if he had felt her up first :ninja:

The first time I watched it I was about 12/13, so I hadn't seen many psychological films which probably contributed to how good it seemed :p:

It was just that the film turned what you'd expect onto its head - the peadophile chasing the young girl was now the young girl chasing the peadophile. It wasn't very graphic either and yet was still horrifying in certain parts I'd reccomend watching it.

That was the ****ed up point of the film - you felt sorry for someone that you'd traditionally despise.

Seriously, if you didn't want to know the ending so bad, why click on a thread discussing people's reactions to the film?

No it doesn't...

What's after it? Hense what is it asking? So the answer is yes/no depending on the person's response.

Intelligent people can talk about a film without giving away the ending, or atleast give a little note saying 'I will talk about the ending here'.

To answer your question: "I wanted to see if I wanted to watch it "

Yeah but then he hangs himself just as you are embracing the dark side starting to root for him to rape and kill her.

In some ways, it's like the film has entrapped the audience. You leave feeling both guilty and unsatisfied. Kind of like a frustrated child molester.

If I believed for a moment that this was on purpose, I would say it was absolute genius.

I really enjoyed it, I felt bad for him up until the point where it turned out what she was saying was true. Then I stopped giving a damn about him, I didn't root for him at all.
